Neues zu den Zukunftsplänen von Horace :
I am working on a plugin interface for 1.5 of TL and talking to one developer
who may be interested to create a plugin for TL.
There is a list of request of "please add ___ under the calender"My concern is how to:
1 do it
2 do it and TL still looks good
3 do it and TL still looks good and the .prc size is still small
so I do what I can do: to employ a plugin interface such that features are
optional. And, I need help for the "looks good" part. Some obvious features,
simple as RAM information, are not done due to the fact that I cannot find
a good (-looking) location on the screen to draw the information ... so any
design suggestions (better as a screen shot, Photoshop, or MS Paint image)
are welcome.

Bei mir sorgt Butler (Version 4.0) in unregelmäßigen Abständen (ca. jedes 3.-4. Mal) dafür, dass wenn ich ein Programm ganz normal mit der Hometaste verlasse der Standardlauncher und nicht der Treolauncher (Version 1.4) gestartet wird. Sobald ich Butler deaktiviere habe ich dieses Problem nicht mehr.
Hat sonst niemand dieses Problem? Ich hatte Butler jetzt für einige Tage deaktiviert und ich bin IMMER mit der Home-Taste im Treolauncher gelandet. Eben habe ich Butler dann testweise mal wieder aktiviert und gleich beim vierten Verlassen einer Anwendung fand ich mich im Standardlauncher wieder... Das ist wirklich extrem nervig und daher bleibt Butler ersteinmal weiter deaktiviert. Aber eine dauerhafte Lösung ist das ja auch nicht... Hat nicht irgendjemand eine Idee woran das liegen könnte?

Ähem, vermisst jemand von euch seinen Registriercode für den Treo Launcher ?
One German user mailed me 4 times for the registration code and I sent
4 times to him. Not sure if it is a problem of his mailbox.
Please ask on your forum if there is anyone who mailed me four times about that.

Yes, I am working on 1.5 now but please don't hold your breath as Lunar New Year is approaching and those holiday parties are everywhere ...
Two main additions in 1.5 will be:
- plugin interface for adding addition information, e.g. weather forecast
- search/filter for double-byte languages (e.g. GB encoded filenames)

Genau. Auf das warte ich auch. Horace macht mir langsam zu viel Schnickschnack rein. Ich brauch kein Wetterplugin. Auch keine veränderbare Icons.
Das sehe ich genauso. Was hat ein Wetter-plugin in einem Launcher zu suchen??? Die Anzeige der freien Speicherkapazitäten scheint wohl gestorben zu sein?
@ Batze: Hast Du irgendwie den Überblick, was genau Horaces Prioritäten sind?
Wenn der Launcher derart mit Nebensächlichkeiten überladen wird, wird wohl 1.4 meine letzte Version sein....
